MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: February 22-28, 2009

02.28.09 - I know, I'm a little late today. Episode 98 of A Wiggly World is available. Botchamania 69 is up. This is funny. This is gross. I have finished the cheesy beef taco bake. I'm going to munch on some coleslaw now.

02.27.09 - I took advantage of that awesome coupon for lunch yesterday. For dinner I made cheesy beef taco bake. I was surprised at how well that turned out. Into the Wild Green Yonder was a great possible ending to Futurama. I added a few more pictures to the Weekly Wrestling Picture Thread. Join the 2 Geeks 1 Podcast Facebook group. I'm having leftovers.

02.26.09 - I ended up having the cheesy chicken last night, and it was delicious. The new Futurama movie is out. Speaking of movies, Kayfabe: A Fake Real Movie About A Fake Real Sport has been released. It has good reviews, and I'm very anxious to see it. @jonathansmith68 referred me to a great coupon. Use it! I know I'll be using it later today and in the days to come.

02.25.09 - Along with playing Budokai 3 to continue my DBZ craze, I'm also now downloading "Bardock - The Father of Goku" and "The History of Trunks" in 720p. Wiggly's last episode of SWF, Episode 192, is now available for download. I decided to save the cheesy chicken for tonight. Instead, I went to Arby's last night and got a new Bacon Cheddar Roastburger. It might be my new favorite thing ever at any fast food place. Do yourself a favor and eat one as soon as possible.

02.24.09 - I enjoyed a nice turkey taco for breakfast this morning. I found my old copy of Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 yesterday, so I'm going to have a lot of fun with that today. The post-"Cold Wars" live show is out from your friends at The 10th Wonder. Cheesy chicken later!

02.23.09 - I'm eating leftovers from last night's Papa Murphy's. Delicious. Episode 165 of Daizenshuu EX, Episode 96 of The 9th, and Episode 187 of RBR are all available. Unfortunately Mickey Rourke did not with the best actor award at the Oscars last night, but the show was still very good. I'm done with my pizza now, so I probably won't need to eat for some time. I'm stuffed.

02.22.09 - No bar crawl or burger last night. I ended up spending the majority of the day sleeping instead. I just finished The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Project64 with Djipi's Cel-Zelda Mod. It's still my favorite game ever, and the texture pack makes it a lot more visually appealing. Episode 76 of The 10th Wonder is available, as is Episode 1 of LOL SPORTS. I think we're going out to eat later today. I'll be sure to let you know what I order.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: February 15-21, 2009

02.21.09 - Happy Birthday to my little sister, who is 20 today. Interesting read here on "fauxback" baseball uniforms. I had a good time hanging out and drinking a beers at my buddy's last night. Hopefully a few of us can participate in this tonight. It turns out the "Create panoramic photo" feature in Windows Live Photo Gallery is pretty neat. I stitched this together yesterday. That's my backyard. I'm not sure what I'll eat today. A burger sounds tasty.

02.20.09 - Hi. Episode 95 of The 9th is now available. I think my turtle is enjoying the rearrangements I made in her tank. Nate Robinson recreated his Slam Dunk Contest-winning dunk on The Late Show last night by jumping over Biff. I am going to make sure I have some kind of Mexican food today.

02.19.09 - I went to the gas station hoping to buy myself a purple (Quiet Storm) Gatorade Tiger. I accidentally bought blue (True Force). Turns out blue is pretty good. Can you tell it's a slow news day? Skoal Berry Blend Long Cut is a refreshing change. Lunch meat sandwiches will be today's main food of choice. I'll go a little more in-depth later on Twitter.

02.18.09 - All of the pizza and spaghetti is no more. Episode 191 of Smart Wrestling Fan is out. The Iowa State football team has a new defensive coordinator. I'm drinking a Michelob Dunkel Weisse right now. It has a very strong aroma of bananas. I'm not sure how I feel about that. It does taste very light for a darker beer, and goes down smooth. I'm going with mashed potatoes and noodles today.

02.17.09 - I went with Bowl of Yum. The 10th Wonder had their live show last night after "Building 26" aired. Do you like to make fun of pro wrestling? Make sure to check out the new thread I started on the Fan Off Forums. If you've played World of Goo, you know the soundtrack is awesome. It's available here for free. I've got a ton of leftover pizza and spaghetti to chow down today.

02.16.09 - I'm proud to be able to say I got my tacos. New podcasts available: Episode 186 of RBR, Episode 164 of Daizenshuu EX, and Episode 94 of The 9th. WWE No Way Out was last night. It was surprisingly good. I figured it would only serve as filler until WrestleMania 25, but it was a very unpredictable and entertaining show. Now that I've finished Dragon Ball GT, I'm going back to watch these. I'm not sure if I'll go with Bowl of Yum or jambalaya today. I'll see where my stomach leads me and let you know.

02.15.09 - Hello. I'm up and atom today, probably because I never went to sleep. There's a great blog entry on Uni Watch today about shoes being worn in tonight's NBA All-Star game. Episode 75 of The 10th Wonder is up for download. I will be very upset if I do not eat tacos at some point today.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: February 8-14, 2009

02.14.09 - Happy Valentine's Day, if that's your thing. Last night I spent too long playing Dragon Ball GT: Transformation for Game Boy Advance. The gameplay was too simple and the story was somewhat inaccurate, but I can't stop playing a beat-'em-up game until I've finished it. For some reason I'm really craving fast food later on today. Make sure to vote on the Question of the Week before time runs out in a few hours!

02.13.09 - Sorry for the super late entry, but I've been busy with things. You may have noticed older entries aren't here. They're now here. Credit goes to @Kferd for the idea. Now you can visit my blog to read archived entries, and when you come to mdunner28.com, it should load a little faster. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken and Bacon Ranch sub from Subway earlier, complete with The Works, banana peppers, and southwest sauce. Yummy.

02.12.09 - Paul Lukas of Uni Watch has written a very interesting article on ESPN regarding sports fan and uniform design submissions. Speaking of Uni Watch, right now there's a good debate going on over what color mustard is. Last night I enjoyed the combination of Taco Bell AND Wendy's. Today is cheese dogs with two different types of, yes, mustard.

02.11.09 - Here again with the late update. SWF Episode 190 is available. Sadly, Wiggly will be leaving the show. Join this Facebook group to let him know how much you've appreciated his work! And if you want more Wiggly, check out his other projects. There's not too much non-Wiggly news besides the bizarre fact that I'm not very hungry.

02.10.09 - Sorry for the late update today. I was busy with this. @heroespodcast had a live show last night. RBR Episode 185 is out. Leftover pizza and spaghetti will be my dinner.

02.09.09 - I was in Ames for the majority of the weekend, so I didn't get a chance to be here yesterday. The people down at ISU were all very friendly. A few strangers even bought me drinks! I'll have to go back soon for sure.

02.08.09 - Sorry for the no-show.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: December 28, 2008-January 3, 2009

01.03.09 - Utah, in my opinion, definitely deserves some votes from the coaches and AP to be the No. 1 team in the FBS. You can't argue with an undefeated season, and they completely manhandled an extremely talented Alabama team. I did some work on a high school football photo of mine and came up with this. Here is a very eye-opening read on steroid use in professional wrestling, reported by the Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Henry Waxman. I added Windows Live and Blog buttons to the right menu. The hot wings are gone. On to the chicken patties and personal pizzas!

01.02.09 - Waking up to the smell of almost-finished cooking pot roast is a great thing. I spent 12 straight hours watching football yesterday. I don't think there are quite so many games on today, so I'll have to find something else to do. I suppose I could catch up on some wrasslin'. There is a ton of food that needs to be eaten, as well. The lil' smokies are gone, but the hot wings are all still waiting for me.

01.01.09 - Happy New Year, and good riddance to you, 2008. You might disagree, but this past year sucked. It just did. And just because it's 2009 does not mean things are suddenly going to go your way. A four-digit number doesn't mean shit, and too many people look forward to this tangible that they associate with change to set an unrealistic goal for their future, only to fail miserably. A number won't change shit. People who really want to change will. End rant. In other news, I've got a bunch of douche bags for "friends". Also, there's a new episode of The 9th. Listen to it. We got a ton of good food like hot wings, chicken patties, and lil' smokies, so I'm going to go stuff myself. I'm going to sleep and sober up first, though.

12.31.08 - Ah, the last day of the year. I still am not completely sure what's going on tonight. Hopefully things will clear up as the day goes on. I watched The Wrestler last night. I thought it was a great movie, but I guess my expectations of a feel-good story were way off. I think I'm addicted to fish sticks. There's a new Smart Wrestling Fan episode out where Wiggly and Joe present their annual SWFy Awards. Have fun tonight.

12.30.08 - My arms hurt more today than yesterday. How does that happen? Today's lunch was fish sticks and tartar sauce mixed with Tabasco sauce. I added a neat little AddThis button below the hit counter, so now it's easier for you to share this great place with your friends. I can't believe the Broncos fired Mike Shanahan. I've got to figure out some plans for tomorrow night. So should you.

12.29.08 - My arms are aching after lifting weights for the first time in months. Because of this I am less motivated to type. RBR: Weekly Wrestling Talk's Episode 179 is available. I'm going to go watch football and eat leftover pizza.

12.28.08 - I've been very busy today. I went to the mall to exchange gifts, then my mom got stuck in the snow, so I had to push her out. The Packers beat the Lions to give the Lions a final record of 0-16. I would have rooted for the Lions if they were facing any other team. I feel kind of bad now. Just had a Cowboy Pizza from Papa Murphy's, and I topped it with various hot sauces that I received for Xmas. I beat World of Goo in one giant sitting. Buy it (or find another way to play). It's that good.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: December 21-27, 2008

12.27.08 - I feel very rested. Yesterday's diet was made up almost entirely of chocolate and hot-flavored Slim Jims. What an odd yet satisfying combination. I edited this picture for a friend. I think it will make a great poster. I also did some experimenting with this Xmas Eve picture of my family. I downloaded and played the World of Goo demo. I was a bit confused at first, but soon got the hang of things and had a lot of fun. If you have Steam, there's a huge game sale going on right now, so make sure you check that out!

12.26.08 - First off, I hope everyone had a great Xmas! I got some computer stuff that has really improved my system. Two more gigs of RAM to put me at four. It makes such a huge difference. I also got an 8600 GT video card that's a slight downgrade from my old 8800 GTS as far as specs go, but it's smaller in size, which will help with airflow. Plus it has a working fan, the sole problem of my old video card. I no longer have to keep a giant fan on my PC at all times to keep it from overheating and shutting down. It's much more quiet and spacious in my room now because of this. I also got clothes, which aren't something I really want to elaborate on. These three DVDs were also presents of mine: I Am Legend, Robots, and Iron Man. Iron Man is the only film I saw of the three, and I am looking forward to watching all of them in the coming days. Tweet me your favorite Xmas present this year and I'll post it. Oh yeah, I got a palette of hot sauces that I can't wait to try out!

12.25.08 - Merry Xmas to all those that celebrate it, and Happy Holidays to all! Orange Cream soda, made by Goose Island Beer Co. is delicious. I later tried Boulevard Brewing Co.'s Unfiltered Wheat Beer, and what a great surprise that was. I highly recommend both of these beverages. I can't wait to open presents later!

12.24.08 - Merry Xmas Eve! Things are a little purple today. I finally got around to watching Raw, and it was actually a really good show. Episode 183 of Smart Wrestling Fan is now available. Today should be a relaxing day full of football watching and chicken cordon bleu. @joehummrich said he likes Green River soda. I've never heard of it and have no idea where to find it. I'll start looking around. @hollaholla09 likes Mountain Dew. I've heard of that one. It snowed four more inches today. Shoveling was not fun, as snow was blowing all over the place. I still have some present wrapping to do before tomorrow morning. I'm drinking Orange Cream soda, made by Goose Island. I've never heard of it before (I've obviously heard of the flavor, just not the brand), but it sure jumped into my top ten list of favorite sodas in a hurry. I'm really anxious to find and try Green River.

12.23.08 - I am finally done with Xmas shopping! It's quite a relief. No real news to report today. I'll extend that Twitter activity longer. Let me know your favorite soft drink!

12.22.08 - I'm really going to do my Xmas shopping today. In a few hours, a few of the guys and I are getting our shopping done late, but not last minute. I uploaded a new video on YouTube. I've got an idea to help keep things on this site fun: Let me know what your favorite soft drink is via Twitter, and I'll tally up the votes. I will then purchase the most-liked soft drink and go from there. Maybe I'll make it the site's background. Maybe I'll write a lengthy and descriptive review of it. I can't tell you yet, because I really have no idea. Hopefully this will work out, and we can continue to do these kinds of things. So start tweeting!

12.21.08 - As I'm writing this, it is negative eight degrees outside. We have ab0ut a foot of snow as well as a blizzard warning. I will cure being chilly with chili. I'm looking forward to watching some good NFL matchups today, like Steelers vs. Titans and Panthers vs. Giants. Episode 178 of RBR: Weekly Wrestling Talk is now available for download. The sixth annual Tribute to the Troops show was last night. It was somewhat lackluster wrestling-wise, but it was a very classy production by the WWE. If you get the chance, go see this movie. I haven't seen it yet, but I can't wait to. I've heard nothing but good things. Some are saying that it's the best movie of 2008. No more wrestling (or anything else) to talk about as of now.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: December 14-20, 2008

12.20.08 - It's snowing again! I swear, the next time I see this weather I'm going to punch it in the face. Chunky soup is helping me to get over it, though. The college football bowl games start today. I'll probably spend a good amount of time watching those. Last night I watched almost all of Volume 3 of Heroes. I think I'll finish it today. I also have a weird urge to go sledding.

12.19.08 - It's going to be a very inside day. Overnight our area received from nine inches to a foot of snow. Needless to say, today's shoveling was the worst of this past three-day shoveling adventure. About an hour and a change of clothes later, I'm all warmed up and ready for a day of watching TV shows on my PC. Oh, and food. Lots of food.

12.18.08 - It's so cold! I had to shovel the leftover snow, which ended up taking longer than the first attempt. Apparently we're supposed to get another snowstorm tonight. Boo. Greg Grunberg, who plays Matt Parkman on Heroes, will be on a live interview with The 9th later tonight. There are no new episodes of The Office or 30 Rock tonight, so I may have to resort to watching TNA Impact. Not sure what I'm having for dinner. I can't decide between chicken patties or chicken alfredo. I think today is the most visitors I've had since creating this site. That's most likely due to the Facebook link I posted on my profile. I'm now over 100 hits though! Exciting!

12.17.08 - Man, it's crappy out. I just got done shoveling the driveway. If I were ten years younger I'd be having a blast right now. A new Smart Wrestling Fan is now available. The last two episodes of RBR: Weekly Wrestling Talk have now also been released, finally. I've decided to change the background and hyperlink color either every time I update the site or whenever I feel like it. The background will always be something captured by me. I figure it's more creative and ensures all content is owned by me. I'm going to go get warmed up and have some egg nog.

12.16.08 - The layout of the site has changed to make better use of space. It seemed nearly pointless to use two columns to list a few buttons on each. There's now obviously just one column to the right that displays the links to sites I'm a part of or frequently visit. 'Dual' was phenomenal. I've got some Xmas shopping to do today. If you haven't already, join Twitter. It's one of the coolest web services I've come across. I used my excellent coupon last night at Burger King to get a free Steakhouse Burger with a value meal purchase. I ended up getting fries too, so I pretty much got a second free meal, which I will be eating shortly. Time to go do things.

12.15.08 - I ended up staying up all night. Being extremely bored, I decided to improve the look of the site. I think it turned out nicely, but I want to hear what you think. Let me know via Twitter! I watched WWE Armageddon last night, and it really was a great pay-per-view overall, minus one hilariously bad segment. There were quite a few good matches along with a great surprise ending. The Heroes Volume 3 finale is tonight, and you'd better watch it. I just might have to take advantage of a great coupon and go to Burger King later on. I'm out for now. See ya!

12.14.08 - I'm recovering from last night, so I'm going to keep things short today. The new 10th Wonder is out. It is Sunday, so football is on. I'm going to go watch it. Goodbye.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: December 7-13, 2008

12.13.08 - So it's been quite the day. I went to the UNI vs. Richmond FCS Semi-final Game, and sadly the Panthers went down 21-20. I was really bummed from that, but now I'm full on pepperoni pizza and plan on attending a party at a friend's house. I haven't seen my friends in awhile, so it'll be nice to have a few brewskies and get caught up on things. A new 10th Wonder podcast is expected tonight. I'm out.

12.12.08 - I'm going to do this post a few minutes early from its correct corresponding date. I might not be around tomorrow today, so I want to get it taken care of. I cannot get this video out of my head. It's just too great. 30 Rock was awesome as expected. That show never lets me down. I still haven't watched my new DVD, but I'm hoping to before the day is done. Updates are now Daily Blurbs. I've had chips and salsa, fish sticks, and milk all day. Now I think I'm going to throw some Skoal Apple Long Cut in, then I'm going to watch funny things on a screen in front of me.

12.11.08 - Yum. I just devoured a sour cream chicken enchilada dinner. In case you haven't noticed, I love food. I'm excited for a new episode of 30 Rock tonight. Later, I might watch my Cult of Cartman DVD that two of my good friends got me for a late birthday/early Xmas present. It's nice to see I've reach over 50 visitors in a little over a week. It's exciting, and it proves I'm not doing this for nothing. Thank you to everyone that keeps coming back!

12.10.08 - I'm happy to see I've had almost 50 visitors in the one week this site has been running. That's great! Smart Wrestling Fan Episode 181 is now available. I had fish sticks earlier. They were solid, but they've got nothing on the creamy cheesy chicken alfredo I'm having later tonight.

12.09.08 - So I've been messing around on Twitter a lot lately. I've slowly become more active, and now it's one of those everyday things I use frequently. Having Vista I decided my sidebar could use a useful Twitter gadget. I ended up finding two gadgets, Twadget and chirpr. While Twadget was more aesthetically appealing, I found chirpr to be superior as far as functionality goes. chirpr has the ability to scroll down and choose from three gadget sizes, something Twadget unfortunately lacks. If you've got Vista and use Twitter, I highly recommend either of these gadgets. Oh, yeah, TNA Final Resolution was poop, and 'Our Father' was one of the best Heroes episodes ever.

12.08.08 - Hey, guys. I changed the font of my header logo thing because, well, I just wasn't feeling the old one. The favicon has changed with it. I'm psyched for jumbalaya tonight. I've also got to hurry up and watch the TNA pay-per-view before the new episode of Heroes starts. This should be a good night.

12.07.08 - I completely overhauled the look of the site. Things were a little too colorful for me. I hope you enjoy the new look here.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: December 3-6, 2008

12.06.08 - I removed the URL masking for the site in order to allow my favicon to appear. I assume anyone who visits the site knows it by the short address, rather than the address you see above in your navigation toolbar. Now the site can be a little more pleasing to the eyes. There's a good discussion going on Uni Watch regarding the special uniforms in the Army-Navy football game today. Time to put some bratwursts in my belly.

12.05.08 - I added a nifty hit counter to the site. I found this very interesting. A new A Wiggly World was released today. It's a great podcast on religion and other aspects of life, and I highly recommend to everyone. What are beliefs if you never have to question them?

12.04.08 - I've been very busy on Starkville Forums doing a lot of graphic-related things. If you watch the TV show Heroes, you should really check Starkville Forums out to discuss the show. There's a new SWF podcast out, which is always good stuff. I also put a new picture up on MySpace. Let me know what you think of the look of the site. I can't decide whether I like it or not.

12.03.08 - Hello, and welcome to mdunner28.com. I created this tiny site to make it a little easier to contact me and to see what I like to spend my time doing. It's basically a collection of pretty hyperlinks that will take you to places I enjoy. Nothing too fancy. I may or may not post here regularly with stuff and things about life. Hopefully this will prove beneficial to someone. Don't forget to bookmark this site.

MDUNNER28.COM Week in Review: February 1-7, 2009

02.07.09 - Chapter 74 of The 10th Wonder Podcast is available. Hooray! I'll probably listen to it in the car as I'm heading down to Ames later today for my friend's birthday. I may look into keeping a permanent background on this site. It makes the updates take much longer than they really should take. Maybe I'll switch it up every week or something. Feel free to give me your thoughts on this in my new Question of the Week.

02.06.09 - I'm all over Twitter this morning. I had Bowl of Yum last night, but cooked it on the stove rather than in the microwave, so it turned out much better than usual. Next time I'm going to cook it in the slow cooker. A new episode of The 9th is out. After failing at converting OGM files to AVI files, I updated my codec pack and tinkered with a few settings to be able to play the OGM files in Windows Media Center. Bowl of Yum leftovers later.

02.05.09 - What's up? Here are this year's college football recruiting class rankings. As I reported last night, I uploaded a new video to YouTube. Cute. Today's food mention will be announced via Twitter.

02.04.09 - I am officially caught up on wrestling. I just listened to Episode 189 of Smart Wrestling Fan, so you should, too. Check out my Knights of the Old Republic group on Facebook. Today I discovered a great Madden mod site called Football-Freaks.com. Fish sticks and Burger King's buffalo sauce together are an amazingly tasty combination. I'm almost done with Dragon Ball Z, so I'll get back to that.

02.03.09 - Heroes was phenomenal last night. You can catch a replay of The 10th Wonder's live reactions show here. I'm almost caught up on all of my wrestling shows. I just have to listen to Episode 184 of RBR: Weekly Wrestling Talk and watch last night's Raw. Time for four meat Tombstone pizza (with hot sauce of course)!

02.02.09 - Last night's Super Bowl was a good time with a ton of food. The Cardinals couldn't pull out the victory, but I got to eat (ahem): all-meat pizza, clam chowder, seven-layer salad, potato salad, barbeque ribs, buffalo wings, fried chicken, chips and salsa, and turkey and ham sandwiches. I also got to drink some good beers: Samuel Adams Blackberry Witbier, Samuel Adams Irish Red, and Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer. I didn't get to drink my one remaining Magnum from the other night, though. I am stoked for the new Heroes tonight! Make sure you watch it!

02.01.09 - I had an awesome time last night celebrating my buddy's 21st birthday. I haven't had that much fun in a long time, and it's very rejuvenating. Because of the Super Bowl, today will be one of the greatest food days in recent memory, filled with jambalaya, hot wings, and pizza. Go Cardinals!
